2nd attempt for Wedding theme Cookies =)

Hey guys, so my friend's wedding is in a week's time. So I decided to make her some Wedding theme cookies as a gift along side the traditional hong bao. This my 2nd time doing these themed cookies. And I am excited to say I have improved...well I hope so. Anyway here are the pictures so enjoy and comment. =)
The Cookie Cutters I used (picture above). I even used some of the handmade cookie cutters, that I made using transparency sheet and templates. Some of the shape is my own and some is not =)

These dress came from the handmade cookie cutter (above picture). I just put the transparency on the dough and use a sharp knife to cut the shape out.

Cookie rack to allow the cookies to completely cool.

Day 2 - Decorations.
One of my best friends came to help decorate the cookies.
Royal Icing colours I used. Mostly, light colours, e.g. Light blue and Light green...etc and of course not to forget white and black.
other decorations to use. ( sanding sugar, pearls and my handmade royal icing flowers (see my previous post to find out how I made these)

I used the flowers to make flower baskets. They look so pretty. To the point that I did not want to give it away and just leave it in an air tight container just to look at it. But I eventually wrapped it up and packed it in the box.

I finally did the couple heart cookies perfectly. I am very proud of myself unlike my previous one.

 Wedding Ring =)

 Wedding Dress and Tux

And finally the packing and putting them in gift boxes. A total of 64 cookies were decorated and 3 gift boxes were used. next time, I need to get a really huge box. So that next time, I can just give one box instead of 3.

Finally, Extra Cookies. I am so obsessed over these San X characters. They are known as Sumikko Gurashi. That I decided to try making templates to use to cut the character shapes.

I only made my favourite characters (shirokuma, tonkatsu and the dust particle)  but I would eventually make all one day.
Tonkatsu (last remaining piece that consist of 1% meat and 99% fat)
Shirokuma (polar bear that does not like the cold)
Dust particle (particle that is left in the corner)
Individually wrapped.

P.S. I am going to take a break from posting until end of may as I have my thesis to finished but reassure that I will come back to post delicious decorated cookies and maybe some nice nail art designs =) Until next time.
